In July of 2019, Microsoft announced that it will be retiring Skype for Business Online on July 31, 2021. If you purchased O365 licenses prior to September 1, 2019 then you should be planning your migration to Teams. O365 customers that bought licenses on or after September 1, 2019 were directly onboarded to Teams chat, meetings, and calling.
For anyone still running Lync 2010, all editions will go end-of-life on April 13, 2021.
Feel free to contact Cornerstone.IT this budget season to help prepare for your Skype to Teams migration.
